This federation was founded in 1958 in Strasbourg. The founders were a number of National Florists’ Associations that worried about the possible threads of the advancing European integration. On the other hand they saw possibilities and opportunities if they would create and intensify co-operation between their associations on the European level. Nowadays FLORINT organises the national Florists’ Associations of 20 European countries, of which the BFA is a member.
By general consensud, FCH is the most informed and authoritative source of information on the cut flower and houseplants markets in the UK and Ireland - and for that matter, worldwide - that is available to the floricultural trade.
The only dedicated trade association for the wholesale sector of the UK flower industry...Founded in 2005 it brings together quality suppliers of fresh flowers, foliage, plants and florist sundries. Florists using a FWTA wholesaler can be confident that they are buying the best product available and that the service they receive will be second to none.
We are the UK's promotional organisation for all commercially grown cut flowers and indoor plants.
We carry out generic promotion - that is, we do not advertise brand names. We are an unbiased, non-commercial source of expert advice. We represent the whole floriculture industry. We work on behalf of our members, who voluntarily fund the promotions we do.
