The BFA is the only trade association recognised by government, which makes us uniquely placed to make sure we’re the first to know of changes in legislation and business practices that could affect our members. In turn by issuing regular bulletins … both printed and via e-mail … we keep you up to date.
In addition our secretariat constantly monitors the industry to make sure consumers are protected from rogue traders and services that do not meet normal industry standards and which, if unchecked, could have a negative impact on bona fide florists.
How to Join

Contract of Employment
Due to the fast changing nature of Employment Law, the Employment Contract has been replaced by an employment service FREE for BFA members. If you are a BFA member, visit www.hr4uk.com/bfa-members.asp. Click "join us for free". Usual subscription is £50 joining fee plus £10 monthly. Please read the terms and conditions, and click "next". Once you have filled in your company details, a staff member from HR4UK will be in touch to confirm the structure of your business (sole trader, limited company, partnership), and set up your documents for you.
