FREE MEETING FOR IRISH FLORISTS!

29 Jun 2010

Following the acquisition of the Society of Floristry (SOF) by the British Florist Association (BFA) earlier this year the president of the BFA, Mark Ward is hosting a meeting for all Irish florists in the centre of Dublin on Sunday 11th July at the Central Hotel on Exchequer Street at the request of some Irish SOF members.

The meeting is open to any florist who wishes to attend and take part in an informal discussion on how the BFA can help Irish florists form their own association, affiliated to the BFA, giving access to a number of member benefits, a free monthly magazine and opportunities to enter competitions as well as host hub meetings.

Mark Ward, president of the BFA said "I really want to have the input of as many florists as possible at this early stage to help form this important new body, I want to embrace every florist across Ireland in this project" Mark went on to say "I look forward to meeting as many florists as possible and hope to get the new body up and running within a few months".

The meeting starts at 12 noon with tea and coffee provided in the afternoon. The meeting should only take a couple of hours, please book in advance by contacting the BFA office on 0044 844 800 7299.
