The British Florist
Association 'Young Florist of the Year' competition WANT TO BE THE BEST
IN EUROPE? The British Florist Association
is proud to announce the return of the bi-annual BFA Young Florist of the
Year Competition. The overall winner of the UK
heats will compete with all the other
european finalists in the 'Eurofleurs 2010'
competition to be held at the RHS Tatton
Park Flower Show. Do I
Qualify? Entry to the competition is open
to: To enter you will need to submit a piece of floristry, following the relevant competition schedule, into the national qualifying heat to be held at the Paragon Hotel in Birmingam on Sunday 10th May 2009. The twelve highest scoring entries from this qualifying heat will go through to the semi final held on the 22nd and 23rd of July 2009 in the competition arena of the BFA Marquee at the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show. The final will be held on the 24th and 25th October 2009 (venue to be confirmed.) The Schedule This is the
European Year of Creativity and Innovation and their motto is Imagine,
Create, Innovate. The aim is to raise awareness of the importance of
creativity and innovation for personal, social and economic development.?>?>ML:NAMESPACE

create a piece of jewellery to be worn at a summer ball to mark the
European Year of Creativity and
Innovation. Fresh
flowers and foliage must predominate. The judge will need to remove the
design from any support for judging purposes.

Write a cheque for £10.00 made payable to British Florist Association 3. Complete, sign and return this form (including your cheque and photo copy of your proof of ID i.e. passport or driving license) to: British Florist
Association All application forms for the National Qualifying Heat need to be received before Friday 30th April 2009. Upon receipt you will be sent a confirmation of entry together with a copy of the competition schedule & rules and regulations. Late entries will not be accepted and returned to
