Following is a list of all floral relay
companies that BFA is aware of. This list is provided for information
purposes only, and BFA makes no recommendation as to which, if any, relay
company you may choose to join.
Some questions you may wish to have in mind when
considering your relay operator:
- Fees - joining fee, monthly membership subscription
- Are there membership "grades" with differing fees and
preferential status, or are all members charged the same rate
- Fees - what does your customer pay? (delivery/service
charge)
- Commission - what sending commission do you receive?
Is it a flat rate or a percentage of order value?
- Order value - how is the order value split between
sending/delivering florist, and does the relay operator take a cut of
the order value?
- Do you currently receive enquiries from your
customers about sending local, national, international deliveries? (ie,
will you be sending out many orders?)
- What marketing material or members benefits will you
receive?
- How prescriptive are the order guidelines? can you
make reasonable substitutions?
- Do you have to carry a certain amount/line of stock?
- Do you need a computer or fax in the shop?
- Does the relay operator make up any orders centrally,
or do all orders get passed to member florists?
- Are there many other members already in your area?
- How are orders allocated if there is more than one
member in an area?
- Can you set your own delivery area and delivery
charges or are you allocated a specific territory?
- What are the delivery cut off times for same day
orders?
- How many members do they have? What is their coverage
of the country like?
I-FLORISTINTERFLORATELEFLORISTIf you
are a relay operator and not listed above, then please email
us with your details. Please note we make a clear
distinction between a relay operator with member florists, and an internet
order gatherer. |
