British Flowers Week - SPREAD THE WORD #4

Select your favourite and share the message by changing your facebook cover image. We've created these for you and all you have to do is:

  • Click on the link below the image to download the non watermarked version.
  • Upload onto your facebook page - using a desktop (to ensure the images are postitioned correctly for mobile, tablet and desktop devices)*

We have created these cover images so they work on business pages form both mobile and desktop (which differ in sizes these work great on mobiles and desktops. NOTE: For FB Business Pages. Personal profiles differ, ours are designed for business.)

*When you upload your Cover Photo on desktop, you can adjust the top cropping so it’s positioned top-to-bottom exactly as you like it. If you upload on mobile, it will crop to center automatically in desktop view. However, we don’t recommend this, as the compression is terrible! Stick to uploading a PNG file via your desktop computer and it will look 10 times better.

Join the conversation with #BritishFlowersWeek

In 2018 #BritishFlowersWeek reached 8.7 million people on Twitter and over 2.7 million on Instagram. Florists and growers were tweeting alongside The RHS, Country Living, Gardens Illustrated, Homes & Gardens, GQ, The Daily Telegraph and The Daily Express to name but a few.

We are aiming to smash last year’s record and you can help simply by using the hashtag #BritishFlowersWeek on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook in all your British Flowers Week posts.

#BritishFlowersWeek is set to be trending once again as images from the Flower Market Photoshoot flood the web, showcasing spectacular designs and the best of British floristry.

If you were in any doubt British cut flowers are back in fashion, along with the trend for vintage, seasonality, fragrance and more naturalistic design, that featured in so many magazines. Nonetheless, British-grown flowers are still thought to represent less than 15% of the £2bn worth of flowers sold in the UK every year.

British Flowers Week is a dedicated opportunity for us to celebrate all that is truly exceptional about British flower growers and the independent British florist. During the week, our home-grown florists show the true beauty of British flowers and foliage at their very best.  look out for these posts that you can share as well as creating your own.
