Thursday 26th May 2016 saw the the president of the RHS Sir Nicholas Bacon crown Di Marvell RHS Chelsea Florist of the Year.
All of the work created by the 16 Florists in this, the second session of the week (as they RHS Chelsea Young Florist of the Year were featured from Monday until Wednesday.) were simply outstanding.
We held 6 heats in England, Ireland and Scotland in our search of the final 32 competitiors to represent the British floristry world in the ‘RHS Chelsea Florist of the Year Competition’ and the ‘RHS Young Chelsea Florist of the Year Competition'. With around 500 competitors taking place in the heats just to make it to Chelsea is a phenominal achievement.

This event is held at the world famous RHS Chelsea Flower Show, which is an internationally renowned showcase of floricultural excellence, the show is always a sell-out, with 161,000 paying visitors attending over the five-day of the show. Without doubt the competition work created by our fabulous British Florists are a loved by all that see them. The visitors are astonished with the headdresses, the standard of the creative work, and the shear imagination shown within the work.
We know the calibre of British Florist and the work they produce, we challenge them each year and they never fail to impress, if ever you would like work that is out of the ordinary we suggest you speak to your local professional BFA florist and challenge them too - we certainly thing you too will be astonished by the creativity they can present to you with their skills and flowers!
