Reaseheath College and University Centre – Floristry

At Reaseheath College and University Centre Reaseheath we have been offering successful floristry courses for many years. These range from introductory level and leisure courses, to industry recognised qualifications, up to City & Guilds Level 5 Master Diploma in Professional Floristry.

Our award-winning floristry department, which has been established for more than 50 years, is recognised as one of the UK’s most successful and progressive providers of floristry education and our courses are highly regarded within the floristry industry.

We have outstanding floristry facilities here at Reaseheath. Our students learn in our £8 million National Centre for Horticulture, the Environment and Sustainable Technology in dedicated floristry studios. Students have access to a wide range of floral materials, professional equipment and software management systems used within the industry. We also encourage students to develop their creativity by foraging in the grounds of our beautiful campus, home to a spectacular range of flowers, foliage and natural art forms.

Our students are taught by highly experienced staff, all with commercial backgrounds who continue to train with reputable international designers, so that they are always up to date with the latest trends and innovations. We also regularly arrange workshops with a range of industry professionals.

We encourage our students to showcase their creations at shows including BFA Fleurex and Manchester Flower Festival and support them to compete in national competitions such as WorldSkills UK, RHS Chelsea Flower Show and RHS Tatton Flower Show. Our floristry students have won an impressive range of awards and gold medals, both nationally and internationally.
